What is art expression?
Art expression is seen as an option for people who have problems putting distress into words, or other problems with verbal or physical engagement. It takes place alongside our Emotional Support Coaching, within our therapeutic relationship, and in our therapeutic setting. It can be used in the healing process for common mental health issues as well as severe and persistent mental disorders. You’ll be encouraged to talk about the images and to begin to look within yourself for meaning and insight. Combined with Emotional Support Coaching, it can help you deal with strong emotions, increase self-awareness and self-worth and decrease stress and anxiety.
Anyone who feels overwhelmed or pressured by the hectic world we live in should try art therapy. Creating art will give you a chance to slow down and explore any issues you may be having.
